AlthoughNot taste incredible, here in Canada, these are good reasons to work in your diet!
You can eat raw, you can wine (see my blog entry how to make wine), or juice from them, the flowers can be eaten or steeped in tea. The texture is to eat them raw, like a kiwi fruit with small seeds that are edible but indigestible. The flesh is slightly sweet and very low in calories.
I propose to eat raw fruit, because they retain themost of the nutrients in this form. Not sweet enough, add a fruit salad cut into small pieces. You can also juice it! I think it would be fabulous Juiced with lychee nuts and lime!
Hopefully this is all I wanted to know more about the fruit of the dragon!
Delicious food!
